I am a sucker for all things that involve a jalapeno. Poppers of all types, pickled , jelly etc. But this was a first for me. Jalapeno Hard Candy. Who knew.

The recipe she gave out had a slight bite so I added an additional pepper. I advise tasting the mixture before adding additional heat so that it meets your family’s taste. My Chief Taste Tester and I like spicy things so I added more. And do not forget that anything that involves corn syrup gets mega hot and give a nasty burn .. so BE CAREFUL.
Placed in cellophane baggies these will make cute holiday gifts. The recipe makes alot.
