THE best vegie dip I have found over these many years is right here. I have been serving this for the past 25 years and it never seems to get a bad review.

It is flexible and works with chips and pretzels as well as it works with vegies. As you get to know me, you will realize I love most vegies if they are roasted or steamed just a touch. You know how that works. A little good olive oil and a sprinkle of coarse sea salt( I get ours at the Asian store by the huge bag) and there you go. But not as fond of them raw. I need a good dip to enhance the wow factor in my eyes.
Back in the day Beaumonde (the herb used in this dip) was not easy to find. But now it is pretty much everywhere (as in Walmart or on Amazon). If you buy your spices and herbs at Penzey’s it is called English Prime Rib Rub. Not sure how that matches up but if you ask them for Beaumonde they can lead you down the right path.
But give this a try. It takes like 5 minutes and you should do it ahead to let everything get to know each other.
I am planning on using this for the upcoming holiday season. Serving up in those cute individual 5 oz plastic cups I am seeing everywhere. I will add photos when I find the size and shape I want. You know you have to test everything…
