THE best vegie dip I have found over these many years is right here. I have been serving this for the past 25 years and it never seems to get a bad review.
Reposting my go to make ahead and reheat recipe for any large( or small) gathering. Screams football watching because this is def a guy fav-but girls like it as well. Ask my husband.
I must confess..I do not like sauerkraut. I serve it on New Years Day and love Reubens. But what can I say I just do not like it.
BUT I love my sauerkraut balls.. Oh yes, they are my signature appetizer and never no never are complained about!
I am captivated by the idea of a cheese filled dough that you just pull apart and dip into a sauce of choice. Pizza dough or biscuits from a container filled with the cheese of choice can change everything in the recipe.
Got an email this past week from a friend who concocts a signature cocktail each year for the Holiday Bash at the 513 Bar and Grill. 100 days until the get together for 2017. That’s what it has come down to .. our home is turned into the 513 Bar and Grill on an annual basis. Good food, good drink and good friends. Hence, the Cocktail, Calories and Conversation. All the makin’s of a great shindig if you ask me. But it is a journey, a fun journey most of the time – but a journey none the less. That is what brought this blog to this point. I save holiday magazines ( some back to 1985 ) and recipes ( hundreds and hundreds). Fills a closet and just about any other flat surface in our home. I fear I may be a hoarder. I will send along pictures when I get brave enough! So let’s Start the Party and More!!
