Wahoo and can I get an amen..
After looking and looking I have decided on my color theme and tablescape for the for the Holiday Bash. This is a big deal and can save a ton of time and much hair pulling. Not to mention cash. If a decision isn’t made I start to buy everything and then have nothing to use.( picture attached showing a bag of mismatched ribbons ).

My theme will be Country Fancy. Burlap (cheap) over the same white sheet I have used for 15 years. The ribbons used on the dining room and on the entry stairs was spotted at Walmart on the clearance shelf-BONUS. It is burlap with white lacing. I just have to go back on the weekend to buy it and it better be there.
Now is the fun part and the cheapskate in me comes out. I start to shop the house. Got some faux mercury glass vases etc ( be sure to try that Krylon Looking Glass paint and follow the pins for mercury glass). AMAZING for sure. I like to keep centerpieces low. Especially in the dining room. We service buffet style with the larger in the dining room- so you don’t want some one to knock it over (been there when a ball shaped candle ended up in a dip. Yuck.) A second smaller buffet is set in the kitchen without a centerpiece..enough going on there as you will see down the road.
My brain hurts with all of these decisions..now I must continue shopping the house. I will keep you up dated on my progress with the tablescape. But I also came up with window decorations that we will cover next week.
